Porter Ranch is a scenic city in the San Fernando Valley community. Located underneath the Santa Susana Mountains creating breathtaking views. This area was the last portion of the valley within the Los Angeles city limits to be developed with major construction not occurring until the 1970s. 

Most residents comment by car to the business hubs in Simi Valley, Downtown Los Angeles, etc. Public transportation is an option by using the Metrolink stations that connect to downtown and even Ventura County.
